6-14-2015 @ Hecksher Park Long Island Antique Fire Apparatus Photo Shoot 6-14-2015 @ Hecksher Park. A beautiful day to enjoy all the apparatus. Over 50+ rigs attended. Job well done by all who coordinated the event. Thanks to all that participated! Here are some of the highlights from today of pictures we took.Over 400 pictures unedited or cropped. High Resolution. This series of photos is of an accident between two Hempstead rigs, sometime in the mid-30's. The Ahrens-Fox is from Union Eng. Co.2. The combination chemical & hose appears to be an early Mack AB (not 100% sure) and I cannot I.D. the Hempstead company that it's from.
If anyone can add any information about this incident....please share it. FDNY with
