Hello and thanks for your service.
Back in the mid 60's my volunteer F.D. was fuller rd. F.D. Colonie ny. And they held a competition 1 block from my house mom took pics of the event while I admired the hotrod's. One vehicle that stood out and has remained a fond mystery was your backwards corvette. 50some years later and thanks to the web I can't believe I've tracked it down. I also remember that day all to well when the ladder platform made from temporary scaffolding collapsed and hurt many people before the first event. I came across a list of drills for volunteer fire fighters. There is one coming up on June 5th in Lindenhurst. Is this the competition events that take place between firehouses? Where is this taking place? Thank you
