Lynbrook, LI, August 11, 1956, Atlantic Avenue. Fire in the building above the Perez Store. As firemen opened up the 2nd Floor window a shepard police dog tried to jump out which was trapped inside. If you look closely, this creepy photo shows the shepard dog leaning on the window overlooking the scene. Eventually the dog did escape down a rear set of stairs as firemen tried to chased him out.
